Apricity
It planted a place in my heart
With its potent alluring scent
And its attractive vibrant hues
Perceptibly exquisite
But undoubtedly thorny
As it pricks through the tissue
Summoning blood through
Flummoxed by its juxtaposition
I ought to cut its root
As it serves nothing
But
just
a
weed
in
my
nook.
