To Not Unwind

why let the door ajar when it'll get shut midway anyway
why expect the wind to hold a door still
when we know, for a fact, how it inherintly behaves

why search elsewhere
have we not learned
have we not felt enough
is it not apparent?

we are blind
by choice
and deaf
voluntarily

was I the wind
that shut a door
I can't recall

did I summon this blizzard?
