There’s just something about it
that makes me calm…
the aromatic smell of coffee that drenches me as I enter
the buzzing sound of people chattering that accompanies me
the familiar clink and chink of the cups and glasses when it hits each other
the warm dim lights that illuminate the room
it feels like being wrapped comfortably with a fuzzy blacket

sipping on a cup of sweet hot drink while doing my work
warming my hands around the warm cup when the A/C gets too cold
it’s so simple
but it’s the best feeling ever
